CITIZEN Eco-Drive AW1811-82X Features
Water-resistant up to 100 m, it is a faithful companion for all situations – whether for sporting activities or everyday life. The dial in a deep green gradient resembles the unfathomable depth of an ocean and captures attention with its unique coloration. It is protected by sturdy mineral glass, completing the watch both practically and visually.
The heart of the watch, the quartz movement, is powered by Eco-Drive technology, which converts sunlight and artificial light into energy, making battery changes obsolete. This innovative technology reflects Citizen’s advanced watchmaking craftsmanship and also represents an environmentally conscious choice.
The stainless steel bracelet in silver perfectly complements the case and ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist. The fold-over clasp ensures security and ease of use. Functional details such as the date display and luminous hands and markers increase user-friendliness, making the watch an indispensable tool for everyday life.
This Citizen men’s watch is more than a timekeeper – it is a statement for men who value quality, functionality, and timeless design.

CITIZEN Eco-Drive AW1811-82X History
History of Citizen
The company was founded in 1930 by Japanese and Swiss investors. It took over Shokosha Watch Research Institute (founded in 1918) and some facilities of the assembly plant opened in Yokohama in 1912 by the Swiss watchmaker Rodolphe Schmid.
The brand Citizen was first registered in Switzerland by Schmid in 1918 for watches he sold in Japan. The development of this brand was supported in the 1920s by Count Gotō Shinpei with his hope that watches could become affordable to the general public. The growth of Citizen until World War II relied on technology transfer from Switzerland.
