CITIZEN Promaster NB6021-68L Features
Wear the new Promaster Mechanical Diver, a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic diving watch from the 1970s. The 1983 discovery of a watch with the same design as the 1977 Citizen Challenge Diver on an Australian beach was the inspiration for this particular watch. The timepiece, which had spent years underwater in the Pacific Ocean, was coated in barnacles but was still functional. Our new Promaster Mechanical Diver was inspired by this past, earning the endearing nickname Fujitsubo, which is Japanese for barnacle. A blue dial with embossed hands and a traditional green illumination for a vintage vibe, a rotating elapsed-time bezel, and an anti-reflective sapphire crystal complement the lightweight and scratch-resistant Super Titanium casing. A silver-tone Super Titanium bracelet is the perfect finishing touch for this advanced timepiece. This cutting-edge automatic watch has a 42-hour power reserve and improved magnetic resistance to guard against external magnetic fields. This high-performance watch is ISO compliant, water resistant to 200 meters, and packaged in a special collector’s dive tank box.

About CITIZEN Promaster NB6021-68L
History of Citizen
The company was founded in 1930 by Japanese and Swiss investors. It took over Shokosha Watch Research Institute (founded in 1918) and some facilities of the assembly plant opened in Yokohama in 1912 by the Swiss watchmaker Rodolphe Schmid.
The brand Citizen was first registered in Switzerland by Schmid in 1918 for watches he sold in Japan. The development of this brand was supported in the 1920s by Count Gotō Shinpei with his hope that watches could become affordable to the general public. The growth of Citizen until World War II relied on technology transfer from Switzerland.
