ORIENT RA-AK0801S Features
This Classic and Simple Style models feature a day and night display with sun and moon design showing the passing of time with a sun and moon disk that rotates once every 24-hours. The asymmetry of the day and night display with sun and moon design at 4 o’clock and day hand at 10 o’clock lends a uniqueness to the watch face. The three-layered construction of the dial adds dimension, while the popular Roman numeral and bar indices of the Classic and Simple Style and elegant design of the dual minute scale along the outer rim also enhance the dial’s charm.
This series come in four color variations depicting magical scenes of the sun and moon in the morning, noon, evening and night, this white dial model with rose gold color plated case evokes the sun’s endless afterglow.
This model is powered by an automatic (with hand winding) in-house caliber F6B24 and come with time, calendar, and day and night display with sun and moon design. The stable accuracy ranging between +25 seconds to –15 seconds per day, coupled with a 40-hour power reserve, make them ideal for everyday use.

About ORIENT RA-AK0801S
Orient Watch is a Japanese watch brand owned by Seiko Epson. Established as an independent company in 1950, it became a functional subsidiary of Epson in 2009 before being fully integrated into the company in 2017.
Until it was absorbed into Epson, the Orient Watch Company had primarily marketed mechanical watches (self-winding & hand-winding), but also produced quartz, light-powered (solar) and radio-controlled models. Outside of the main business, the company produced some moving parts and electronic components that were then assembled into Seiko Epson’s electronic devices.
Currently, Akita Epson Corporation (formally Akita Orient Precision Instruments Co., Ltd.), a group company of Epson, manufactures all of the Orient movements in-house in Yuzawa, Akita, Japan.
