ORIENT RA-AR0204G Features
This model is named as “The Retro Future Camera”, it blends the functionality of a mechanical watch with highly original design elements. The new Revival Collection models introduce modern features to the original ORIENT STAR Retro Future Camera watch that was launched in 2005 and has continued to be highly popular amongst its many fans across the world. In a digital age, the Retro Future Camera casts the image of a mechanical camera on a mechanical watch. As a modern twist on the original, it retains many of its features including the dial, inspired by a camera’s lens aperture blades; the bezel, mimicking an aperture ring; and the crown and crown guard, reminiscent of a winding lever; and the square top of a camera cover. New design touches further enhance the camera-like design, such as the case back that simulates a viewfinder. A gold gradation dial makes up the 70th anniversary limited edition model of just 2,300 pieces. The gold gradation design of the dial creates a vintage feel reminiscent of the Jaguar Focus model, launched by ORIENT in the 1970s, which went on to become one of the brand’s most popular timepieces.

About ORIENT RA-AR0204G
Orient Watch is a Japanese watch brand owned by Seiko Epson. Established as an independent company in 1950, it became a functional subsidiary of Epson in 2009 before being fully integrated into the company in 2017.
Until it was absorbed into Epson, the Orient Watch Company had primarily marketed mechanical watches (self-winding & hand-winding), but also produced quartz, light-powered (solar) and radio-controlled models. Outside of the main business, the company produced some moving parts and electronic components that were then assembled into Seiko Epson’s electronic devices.
Currently, Akita Epson Corporation (formally Akita Orient Precision Instruments Co., Ltd.), a group company of Epson, manufactures all of the Orient movements in-house in Yuzawa, Akita, Japan.
